Nebraska Trip: A Vacation Series | Day 7: Farm Day

No big events, just slow living. Chores. Tractor rides. Planting corn. Feeding cows. Throwing rocks. The kind of day where time moves slow enough for you to notice it. We sipped  coffee on the porch and just watched the kids blow bubbles and draw with chalk.

The oldest walked around the farm like she owned the place, even learned how to drive! My middle refused to wear shoes and made castles in the sand box, which was appropriately made out of a tractor tire. And the youngest just kept pointing to the 3-wheeler to go on another ride. Worth it.

We ended the day roasting marshmallows under a candy-colored sky. It felt like the last page of a children’s book—where everyone is sticky, sleepy, and totally content.
